INTRODUCE YOURSELF . . .
My name is Feston Jones, alias Jamaal. I was born in the year 1989 on November 10. I stay in Zion - Chilobwe in the City of Blantyre - Malawi. I am popularly known as Hagios. Hagios is a rapper, poet, an actor and radio Presenter with a vast knowledge in Accounting/Bookkeeping and Media House entertainment.
WHO OR WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO BECOME AN ARTIST?
Music is basically what defines me. I am music. I can't go to bed without music. I can't work without music. I grew up living in a music sphere. I can say my life revolves around music. I recall in 2002 whilst in my 7th grade when an idea to praise the Lord came to me and I kind of expressed it through rap. That is when I discovered the world of rap.
WHAT ELSE DO YOU DO APART FROM MUSIC?
Besides music I also do spoken word poetry and act with NADECIA Arts Theater. I also serve at Creative 4 Christ Movement and Passion 4 Purity. I am also a music producer working with FJ Records under HAGIOS MEDIA and professionally work as a presenter at UFULU Radio.
WHAT OTHER GENRES ARE YOU COMFORTABLE WITH?
I am not limited when it comes to genres but rap is what I'm more conversant with. I also believe I can sing as I have managed to do vocals in a couple of my tracks. I am that guy you would give a track and a flow and would be able to deliver. I am very versatile.
SAVED OR NOT SAVED?
Definitely saved, by God's grace through faith in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 2:18).
WHAT'S THE TITLE OF YOUR MOST RECENT PROJECT?
I released a single "B.A.D. - Blessed And Divine" which I featured Barach early this year.
WHEN ARE YOU RELEASING YOUR NEXT PROJECT AND WHAT WILL IT BE CALLED?
I am currently working on my album called The Hagiosis set to be released early next year but before that I am dropping a single on December 12 entitled "Footprints"
WHERE DO YOU SEE YOURSELF IN THE NEXT FIVE YEARS?
In the next 5 years I see myself as a well established music minister: both in terms of ministry and industry. I would love to have reached out to more souls through my artistry and impact many in terms of behavior and character. I would have recognition not only locally but international as well. I would have ministered in major platforms both locally and internationally. God willing even minister alongside great ministers I aspire. These are the likes of Flame, Trip Lee, Dwayne Tryumph and Travis Greene. Peradventure the Lord willing, I would also be grateful to have done collaborations with Pastor David Kalilani.

Let me take this opportunity to tell the people that we really can't move a muscle, think a thought and feel an emotion unless the Lord gives us an opportunity to do so. This means that our lives are completely nothing without him. Jesus is Lord.
